Position: Senior Level Oracle Apps DBA

Critical Success Factors

  • Over 10 years of experience in IT and 6 plus years of experience in Oracle Database Administration and at least 4 years of experience in Oracle applications database Administration (11i/11.5.10).
  • Oracle Applications 11i (11.5.9/11.5.10)- supporting a multi tier environment required.
  • Apps DBA will be responsible to deploy and support the Oracle Applications Release 11.5.10 environment.
  • Expertise in Oracle Database 9i/8i.
  • Extensive experience with Unix/Linux shell scripts.
  • Thorough knowledge of Oracle Database 9i/8i, Oracle Apps 11i, Performance tuning, backup and recovery, etc.
  • Should have excellent communication and user interaction skills.
  • Should have knowledge to resolve E Business transactions issues.
  • Basic understanding to troubleshoot Financials and Manufacturing problems.


Travel required: 50% (2-3 days a week).
